The Music
Factory - Quavers in pre-school and primary Schools |
| |
The Music Factory is an exciting
programme for teaching Music Literacy, Musicianship and Performance
Skills within the schools curriculum. The course is innovative, compelling,
highly effective and fun for both teachers and pupils whilst exploiting to the
full the well known cross-curricular benefits of music
making.
The Quavers Method has been
designed to be accessible to all children as we believe, and experience has
shown, that all children, given the opportunity, are capable of learning to
create and perform music to a level which brings much pleasure and satisfaction
to themselves and to others.
The course can be adapted for use with any
age group beginning the course during pre-school education and primary years 1-
3 and can be extended to develop the children's musical skills right through to
the end of primary school.
The unique qualities of the course make
the training effective for musicians and non-musicians alike.
